Medical Device Funding & Grants
☞ Independent Living Centres or Assistive Technology Australia provide impartial information on a wide range of AT products. Grants issued are on a case-by-case basis. ILC staff may be able to suggest other funding sources where appropriate.
☞ National Disability Insurance Scheme – Mobile Alert is a registered provider.
☞ Queensland Medical Aids Subsidy Scheme (MASS) – Available only to residents of that state.
☞ Department of Veterans’ Affairs – Full funding must be applied for directly from the DVA.
☞ JobAccess – The Federal government may provide financial aid through the Employment Assistance Fund (EAF) to one with a disability or to the employer if modifications to the place of employment is necessary.
☞ There are a few non-profit and sundry organisations that provide funding for the Mobile Alert. Factors for funding include where you live, age, need, disabilities (if any), etc. Either investigate resources on your own or call us and we may be able to suggest others depending on your circumstances.
